David Frankel was born in the Bronx. In his first life he produced award-winning television commercials for a major advertising agency.
He began designing and making jewelry in 2005. Each sterling silver piece is hand made and one of a kind, some with gold or bronze accents, crystals, beads, and semi-precious stones. Much of the work is inspired by ancient jewelry from North Africa.
He was represented at Stewart/Stand design store in the Dumbo section
of Brooklyn. Currently, his work can be seen at High Falls Mercantile
in High Falls N.Y.
